Oil, the triple threat for global economy
world economies face a triple threat. The oil reserves will be near of exhaustion in 2050. The damage caused by climate change caused by increased emissions of greenhouse gases will be considerable. transportation increased and costs will reduce the rate of economic growth. The results lead to economic stagnation in the world, without hope of escape or reversal.
Future generations will pay dearly for the failure of previous national governments to eliminate emissions of carbon dioxide and change the world energy supply. Our dependence on fossil fuels must be completed in the next three to four decades, perhaps the world self-destruct.
Consider the facts that led to these conclusions appalling.
Statements about the oil reserves have been questionable in the past. In 2007 the figures are lowest in the range of 1 to 1.3 trillion barrels. A figure as high as 2.3 trillion barrels has been proposed, but many fans will not find, even in the oil industry.
In 2006, the rate of oil consumption of 31 billion barrels per year, these reserves could last 32-74 years.
