What is the differeces between a compressor and a turbocharger? Where did each of them go? (Place)?
The super drive shaft used to drive a belt or gear to rotate the blades on the compressor. The turbo uses exhaust gases to turn a turbine that is connected to a shaft leading another force turbine and air into the engine. The super is above the intake manifold and the turbo is located near the front of the engine and connected to the exhaust pipe off the headers. Some new turbos are located at the rear car near the trunk and the use of tubes to supply compressed air to a backup engine.
