The Light of Peace
The Season of Light is upon us. Hanukah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, Solstice. This is the time of the year when the light turns to land. This year's official return is marked on December 22 at 1:08 pm (EST), 6:08 (UT).
In the calendar Christian, the coming weeks are called Advent. Christians welcome the arrival of light each week by lighting candles. A valuable memories of my childhood is the house my grandparents, many windows on each one with a single candle at the holidays.
The Jewish Menorah everything on the light. Kwanzaa includes ritual lighting of candles.
Holding the peace as a possibility is always present, contributes effectively to return light on our planet.
Join me in lighting a candle this year on the night for peace?
Choose your night. Include family and friends. Take time for the ritual. The ritual was intended to stop our life continues.
For the ritual to be meaningful, the ritual to create their own meaning. There is no per se rule that intent. Put it intends to help create peace in the land, then let the flow of the ritual. Make your rituals in the period before the solstice, or a summer night and sleep in heavenly peace.
