Radical, reactionary, conservative, Paul
The Bible is the sacred Christian document written by man, but the literature really inspiring. When you move to "preach from the pulpit," especially in South America and in a theological discussion of honest men and women Experts in the study of the Bible, we find a very different Paul. And, of course, the Bible, very different. It is no less important. In fact, it is much more exciting!
Scholars New Testament, Raymond Brown and John Mier, have contributed enormously to my life and my ability to give meaning that Saul became Paul. Sometimes Paul is as a hatred of women, promotion of slavery, homophobic individually, then other times it is one of the early mystics Christians who traveled to other dimensions.
How to reconcile these representations?
My answer is when I realized how much the New Testament was born. My understanding is higher when he shook the false teaching of biblical inerrancy and infallibility and allowed the Spirit in me to discern what is true and what is not. After all, it why Jesus sent the Holy Spirit in the first place? And yet many Christians still do not listen!
The Paul Radical:
It is he who has written seven books that bear the names: Romans, 1 and 2 Corinthians, I Thessalonians, Galatians, Philippians and Philemon. Study Internal shows that these books were probably written between 48 and 60 CE, about 10-20 years before Mark wrote his Gospel. Here we see a Paul who is bold as you saw the distinction between the historical Jesus and the Christos spirit. For example, Paul quotes Jesus, but rarely time to speak of "Christ within", the "body of Christ "and others.
Paul reactionary
The three pastoral letters calling Titus and 1 and 2 Timothy were not written by Paul. No way, no how. The internal evidence is they were written 100CE, about 30-40 years after Nero had put death of Paul (64CE). They were written in the name of Paul, who was not an unusual thing to do in those days. It is considered as a tribute. And of course there is a big departure from the "thinking" of seven other books mentioned above, had already spent several decades in the development of the Christian community.

These three books have not written by Paul and writing or somewhere between the original seven-(48-60ce) and the last three (100CE). These three between the two books of Ephesians, Colossians and 2 Thessalonians adopt a more sect very traditional "Jewish" in this newly formed group that eventually the new religion called Christianity.
The world has lost one of its most profound students of the New Testament in 1998, when Raymond E. Brown, the passage of this dimension. Brown is still controversial among traditionalist Catholics, because his claim that denied the infallibility of all Scripture and its request that the questioning of the accuracy many historical items from the Catholic faith. Of course, anyone who disagrees with the literal fundamentalist approach is punished.
