Soft, fragrant dough forms of family business

HOUSEHOLD INCOME
Play clay before Christmas I had sold two to earn money in the local industry Trip to Lamar, Colo. After my husband was fired, began selling on income. I started with a recipe, then added a touch of ventilation to make it a good smell. Our formula is not market like everything else, and nobody has been able to reproduce.
Clay is one of the best selling toys of the year. Is therapeutic and educational – is one of the most relaxing you can do outside roll, and helps to develop hand-eye coordination. Play started to think that clay is suitable for children aged three and above, but our product is soft and flexible, so that even two years old can play with him.
Mother's love of clay because it is crumbling and no glitter. It is soluble in water and does not stain if different Play-Doh [Hasbro], from the right of the carpet. Play Clay lasts two to three years, more Play-Doh, and is United States from organic ingredients.

I designed the package with of a professional. Then hired some women and got to work, packing and sale of clay directly to consumers at fairs, craft shows and holiday markets.
After a few years, we went to the wholesale market. Our first concert was wholesale gift market in Dallas in 1991.
Now we make a great number of enterprises, and sold on our site. Our product is independent and toy stores were in the stores Wild Oats (now Whole Foods) for a few years.

One obstacle we have encountered was finding the right machine for packaging and that those who worked well with our formulas. We use a company 200 miles Denver to allow me to make a machine to test the formula. If the job does not change me. Continue to do so until the machines work.
Initially, we did everything by hand in 11 houses. Now we have a plant and a process that makes our product 12 times faster. The company is fairly large to support us, and we can do more with fewer people.
SCULPTING INTEREST
We worked with a public relations firm last year, and I think back to using a little more. Sometimes it takes two or three years before seeing results.
We had a radio station in Oklahoma that has been the promotion of products made last fall in the U.S., and we did well with that. We also do a lot of work to TDmonthly.
In autumn, we do 17 shows in five weeks in addition to programs in education year. The whole family – my children and their spouses – are our vendors, and selling directly to consumers.
We have funded our care themselves do a lot of retail entertainment. We believe that our product must be in the mass market, and we are preparing to make the transition. We are open the sale of our company or have a partner.
TAKING TIGERS
The company was a shock to me because I was focused to tell the truth. People copying your product and brochures – are dishonest.
My advice to people entering the industry is working hard and be ready for the Tigers there.

How does a ship models look like it moves through the water with the future and epoxy glue or clay?
I As is seen Modeler Magazine scale. Future Floor wax used the brightness of the water and epoxy resin or clay. I know also as clay or epoxy or other. I want to know how to do it with hardware. Yeppers … mentioned in several issues of Fine Scale Modeller and other books, and I used it in several models of the waterline during the last twelve years. Can I use Cellu-CLAY … it spread all around the model, the construction of more high waves. After drying, paint with latex paint …. Liquitex and use Liquitex matte medium to create waves and others. Then, when I'm satisfied, I sleep with half brightness or future floor wax. For the surface "real" … see lots of pictures, and practice on the shelves!
