Precious is a triumph Landmark
Arts, No Chaser – Precious Dwight Hobbes MN Spokesman-Recorder although the term "significant" are distributed to HYPE on particular film as a profound filmmaking, few movies deserve this distinction. Precious: Based on the novel Push by Sapphire undoubtedly has hands down. And if not go see it, you will find yourself listening again and again to people who bent your ear out of shape about it. Beautiful, skillfully developed, is a fascinating story told without a wasted word of dialogue by the characters in riveting immediacy. It also carries a powerful message through which you will never see another fat, friendly young girl there. God knows it's someone who is more than time for young women who are not trained well enough. This movie is that and more, showing that the self is the heart and soul of hi. Clarice "Precious" Jones is as big as a barn and the family as a mud fence. This, in the eyes of the world, hiding his humanity as a sensitive, sensitive girl who just wants live life like everyone else. The children tease her in the street. Other girls are vicious contempt. Add to this his family life is hell: when cooking and not cleaning behind his mother, she is dodging fists and listening to his mother telling him how useless it is.
